Sometimes, it’s nice to escape the hustle and bustle of inner city Newcastle and find yourself at a quaint, relaxing cafe with exceptional food.

PEGS Cafe in Whitebridge ticks all of these boxes. Owner, Mel Chapman, opened PEGS 5 years ago with a passion to open a cafe that feels just like home (except they’ll do all the cooking and cleaning 👏).

You’ll feel a strong sense of family and community when you enter PEGS, the walls are lined with artwork from local artists and her three children.

The menu focuses on fresh, local produce always with a PEGS twist 💃. You can pop into PEGS for breakfast, lunch or even dinner (on Thursdays and Fridays).
