Jessica grew Crave from the popular Instagram page @cravenewcastle in 2014. With a passion for hospitality, Jess started the Instagram page as a hobby project with the goal of showcasing and supporting local cafes and restaurants. Jess soon realised that the industry lacked good education around utilising the power of social media, and so the vision behind Crave transformed. During Crave's early days Jess acted as the brains, photographer, and sole representative for the entire Crave platform to grow into the business it is today. Jessica is a passionate and ambitious leader who is excited about what the future holds for Crave.

Bursting onto the scene in January 2018, Henry is the main man behind the lens at Crave. From shooting weddings on the weekends to live music gigs at night, Henry’s diverse range of skills complements perfectly with capturing Crave's classic style of food photography. More than a camera wizard, Henry also has a background in business and marketing and is currently completing his law degree. Grace burst onto the Crave scene in July 2017 after blowing us away in our app user testing sessions. Her flare for creativity, digital marketing and an overall love for food made Grace the perfect fit for Crave. Armed with a Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing, Grace has taken on the role of Sales Operations and Marketing Manager. In the office, you’ll find Grace creating streamlined processes, deciphering analytics and designing marketing materials. When she isn't in the office, you will probably find her beachside patting as many dogs as she can.
Toby Tull - Videographer
Toby fell in love with video at a young age after discovering his Grandma’s video camera that was collecting dust. Quickly discovering that the 9-5 life wasn’t for him, Toby decided to study a Diploma of Screen and Media at Hunter TAFE which made him realise that a career in videography was possible. Motivated by his love to tell the stories of others, Toby is always trying to think of new creative angles and not follow the crowd. Toby's passionate about supporting local businesses, and when he's not behind a camera you'll find him drinking coffee at his local.
Gabi Crawford - Account Manager & Social Media Strategist
Gabi has always had a love affair with food. To her, there is nothing more beautiful than a perfectly ripe avocado or a burger with an ideal sauce-to-bun ratio. This love, coupled with the completion of her Communications degree, led her to join the Crave team in 2016. With a particular interest in consumer behaviours, emerging new media technologies, and all things aesthetically pleasing, pursuing a career in social media and marketing seemed an obvious and exciting choice. Gabi is passionate about the amazing work that Crave does and is excited to see where the future will take us.
Claire Jones - Account Manager & Social Media Strategist
Claire joined the Crave team as an intern in early 2016 and enjoyed it so much she decided to stay. She quickly fell in love with the social media industry, seeing an opportunity to apply her quirky sense of humour to building loyal followers and compelling pages. A self-confessed lover of all puns, Claire is responsible for a large part of the laugh inducing content you’ll see through Crave’s work. A born and bred mid-north coast girl, she can usually be found hunting down waterfalls and patting every dog she sees.
Madeleine Opitz - Account Manager & Social Media Strategist
Having relocated from Melbourne, Maddie was no stranger to amazing cafes and restaurants, and to her delight, she realised that world class food was discoverable right here in Newcastle. Working in digital marketing in the Newcastle hospitality scene, Maddie had always admired Crave and saw the agency as the pinnacle of social media management, strategy and content creation in the region. When not strategising and drooling over her client's accounts, you’ll likely find Maddie in her garden or shopping for the newest addition to her indoor flora family.
Georgia Metcalfe - Public Relations Manager
Georgia is our PR Queen and daily source of current affairs. She returned to Newcastle for the launch of the Crave app, after cutting her teeth in the PR industry in Sydney. Georgia has a strong background in entrepreneurial, lifestyle and business media combined with a passion for brand awareness and strategic communication. With a little black book of contacts and a way with words, she works hard to ensure everyone has Crave on their brain. When she isn't hustling a journalist, Georgia will probably be on a beachside run or scouting the best single origin in town.
